The Flygt 3000 range of sewage pumps offer a robust and reliable solids handling solution. The introduction of the new revolutionary “N” impeller has proven itself to be the market leader in sewage and wastewater pumping.
We have a huge fleet of Flygt 3000 range sewage pumps, 50mm to 300mm discharge, with low, medium, high and super head impeller options available with C or N type impellers.
They are available to hire in the following configurations:
- C/NS = Free Standing
- C/NP = Fixed Wet Installation
- C/NT = Dry Well Installation
We also provide On Site Installation and commissioning by our well trained, well equipped and committed workforce who are qualified to carry out even the largest and most complex pumping installations to the highest standards required.
We can readily convert equipment to match the requirements of the customer. We can adapt sliding brackets to fit existing guide rail systems and we can adapt to Dry Well pipework systems.

Grinders
The M Pump (grinder) features an effective grinder assembly at the inlet. The lead edge of any solid or textile material is drawn through the grinder wheel, thus significantly reducing particle size, resulting in a fine slurry.
These pumps are specially designed for pressure sewage systems where they are used to macerate particles within the incoming flow from residential or commercial properties prior to discharging to mains sewer. They are also used where the pumping main is of minimal diameter – macerating material prior to discharge and avoiding blockages as a result.
Cutters
Used in various pumping situations where fibrous materials are present in wastewater, F Pumps (choppers) have an open ‘S’ shaped impeller with hardened cutting edges. There is a special cutting plate situated at the inlet and this, together with the impeller, cuts up long fibrous materials before they can enter the pump and cause clogging and breakdown.
The most common applications are in agriculture, pumping liquid manure; sewage stations where incoming foreign materials such as textiles, bottles and polythene can be macerated prior to entering the rising main and emptying dormant slurry lagoons at treatment works.
There are also various industrial applications including food production, eliminating waste product during the washing process.
